Re: Liverpool This Weekend.
It is indeed a great City ,but such a pity that like many other Big Cities there is an increase in the crime rate there!Wish those things never happened, spoils everything!
However Manchester seems to top a lot of other Cities!
Cheers

Re: Liverpool This Weekend.

So good golfing weather Jim
Wet and miserable is how you feel after missing that 2ft putt on the 18th green to beat your mate and end up having to buy the drinks in the club house.
Have a good weekend and lets hope for a British winner of the open.

Re: Liverpool This Weekend.
Vernon just read your link re crime figures. What you dont realise Merseyside is not Liverpool,Liverpool is in Merseyside, look at a map and see just how big Merseyside is.Sometimes you see a bad crime has been committed, maybe a murder, and in actual fact it could be over the water in Birkenhead nothing todo with Liverpool, and it surprising the amount of crime that we get from Southport and other far flung areas from Liverpool. As JP said about 75% of the murders are committed by drug dealer on drug dealer and if that clears the streets of another one of these people it's a win-win situation.

Re: Liverpool This Weekend.
Hi Vernon
I Think you should read the post that Jim put on regarding the top three cities to visit on the planet in 2014 which are Rio, Sarajevo and Liverpool. I would think that just about gives Liverpool the edge over Manchester.
Regards
John
