Yes its a mystery as of now
Hi Tony
Yes its a mystery as of now, heard again on the News here this Morning,no one actually knows if they fell,Jumped or got pushed!
We will have to jus follow the story and see !
No matter what it is a tragedy!
Could it possibly have been a Lovers Suicide!
Cheers

Point in fact
If had not been a passenger vessel and passengers lost how much publicity do you think it would have got. It has been headline news here in Australia for the past 2 days. It would be interesting to know how many seafarers are lost every year in similar circumstances. If picked up by the press may if lucky get a couple of lines on page 3. John Sabourn

I somehow doubt they could just fall overboard, the rails are far too high for that. I suggest they either jumped or where pushed, but could have been fooling around and fell over. But as you say it happens almost every day without recording of it on the news.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Cappy was on one of Runcimans, Hoggy was skipper. I was informed by someone on here who looked up and came out with a slightly different name of the lad. However was the same incident. Thinking back maybe not me that was wrong with the spelling of name, could have been the press. Cheers John Sabourn

John the old saying once before in a post somewhere. Only Fools, firemen, and first trippers sit on the rail. Have seen people doing this and this was what you always said to them. John Sabourn
