we had 2 suicides on the Empress Of Canada, one on the way back to New York from a caribean cruise . and the next trip same location , but it was crew a laundry maid first and her lover the next trip , never heard anything about it afterward .I think they kept it quite so no bad publicity

JUst announced on the news. They had a very severe row in front of several persons including some family. She was going through a rather painful divorce. She went over the side, he followed some 20 seconds later.
