Not fibs Vernon, just a little massaging of the truth. But must admit the photos from Brian do look good, even you look presentable. LOL

I was shopping with the missis Liverpool City Centre a few months ago, A guy across the road shouted my name waving his hands around trying to dodge traffic to get over to my side of the road, When he grabbed my hand Terry bloody hell mate I havnt seen you since we shared a cabin on the Empress of Canada 45 years ago how are you mate, Fine Thanks how are you doing these days ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Bald as a coot didn't have tooth in his head, NO CHANCE of me remembering him. I defy anyone remembering everyone they sailed with even if you shared a cabin with them. My missis asked who was that................Have not got a bloody clue Terry.

Sorry Ted, I should have identified myself, the years haven't been kind to me.

I came home dbs on the Baltic Fleet after jumping ship in Gdynia on the Hannington Court.I was sent out to join her in dry dock in Bremen to work by 'til the crew returned from leave. Turned out I'd been press ganged by Mr Bewey at Mann Island. Loading coal in Poland for god knows where, i bailed out and spent a few days there waiting for a Baltic boat to take me back.
