Hi !Tony--A Warm Welcome aboard,-perhaps as warm as Persian/Arabian Gulf (note PC reigns in that region!)

    Lovely sounding all British.......etc. tankers.
But,mmmmm---what was that s.s. Shoush? or is it a bit ,you know, hush-hush

As for one of our Taff shipmates-now isn't that just typical he gets his Aberdan mixed up with his Abadan!?

Merry Christmas/Nadolig Llawen from Gulliver....and Geoff!
(Now,daishop- if you find this post---don't get confused!)

Hey-ho---methinks 'Ye Olde Faggott and Firkin' beckons!

    Welcome aboard British Tony!

    Cool British tankers

    hi Tony B.
Welcome aboard, you'l be glad that you signed on.Thats an
impressive list of British Tankers you sailed on.If there was
a prize,Im sure you would win hands down.I went to the
Vindi in 1952 and then to sea until 1959,and sailed mainly
out from Swansea on Tankers, the B.P. boats I sailed on
were the British Pioneer,British Resource,British Duke,
British Envoy and the British Hero, apart from the Duke
they were all tidy ships, and if I remember rightly the
Envoy and Hero had small pools, which made a lot of
difference.I was in catering and ended as second steward,
Id love to do it all over again.Hope that you are keeping
well?.Id like to wish you and your family a Merry Xmas and
a Happy New Year.Drop us a line if you get the chance.
