G:day TonyB I am a new member browsing to see if i know anyone and came across your fleet list very impressive indeed but its obvious that you did not do any 12 month trips -i started my sea career early 1945 and joined BP as a company man in 1950-as a c/cook then c.std for 10 yrs until 1966 then came to oz where i sailed on oz shiops until i retired with a total of 48 yrs sea service-i am 81 yrs young and still going good my list of ships Admiral Marshal Councillor Bulldog Victory Soldier Fortune Maple Officer DiplomatTalent Aviator Lantern Signal Trader Kestrel Light Dragoon Skill Bombardier Captain

ref post@1 Hey up Tony. Sailed with you on tjhe Security (I'm pretty sure). I joined her in Teesport and paid off when Bp sold her to the Italians. Was my last BP ship. Regards KEV

i joined the British Captain before she was completed at Birkenhead about 4 months before trials this would be about end of 1965 and was my last British ship as i pulled the plug and emigrated to OZ to get a way from the sea-but as fate would haveit the calling was to strong and joined Aust. ships for a further 26 yrs which i thoroughly enjoyed John B geordie
Hi Tony, I sailed with you on the Security. I joined her in Teesport as 2nd cook, think you paid off after about another 2 months. Bosun was Tug Wilson. It turned out to be my last trip with BP went North Sea after she was sold to the Italians. Regards KEV JACKSON
