Hi John.
You were on the new B Captain, must have scrapped or sold the one I was on, they didn't seem to keep them long. I did four trips on the Guardian in which time she had paid for her construction, so i guess BP made plenty. I went on the Kiwi coast Transtasman from 57 to 66. Lived 30 years in the Blue Mountains. Did you know the late Gordon Soloman president of the Aus MN Association, great bloke.

Hi sailed on the willow as she was sold to a group of minted people from the gulf. She was full of roaches even the old plate wash went bang because of them. We played football all over and had great time was sad to see her go. It seemed to be the nature of my trips then going ships being sold or scrapped a sign of the times back then in the early 80's
