Eric my friendIf we are going to play one up man ship, this is what I have to offer on beautiful Vancouver Island.
100 year old four bedroom farm house, with no neighbors. They moved out shortly after I arrived.
With a name like Joe Connor I think he may enjoy my favorite whisky, Jamison's.
A trip in my boat to the best salmon fishing in the world.
    Modesty forbids me to say.
With the best guide on the Pacific coast,

Joe, enjoy the trip and hope your sister enjoys it and gets something from it that may help her improve.

If by chance you go to the island beware of a man selling Tab Nabs, he may be impersonating Den.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

    Hi cappy,
I was on the same run in 57 aboard the Pacific Reliance.
    Memories stayed with me.
That's partly why I ended up here.
Chermanis is just two hours drive south of me.
    Hasn't changed much at all.
Maybe an extra pub since you were there.
    Take care mate.

Brilliant picture Dennis ,the wildest thing I get in my garden is a Sparrowhawk that chooses my garden to eat its prey leaving a pile of feathers for me to clean up , amazing to see, not as good as your bear though .JOE .

Big Cat.jpgHi Joe,Not sure if we have sparrow hawks over here.
    Lots of Bald headed Eagles.
When I lived in Prince Rupert BC, the woman next door lost her cat to one.
Just swooped down and took it out of her yard.
On the Island, we have the biggest population of cougars in Canada.
Farm near me lost a pony to one.
This picture was taken at a friends place down the road.
