I think most people don't give a monkeys nudger about Israel or Palestine, but what draws our attention, are events like the Hamas attack on those people at the music event. How evil can any kind of people get? Add that to all the other events over the years, like the Manchester Arena and any other murderous attacks on innocent people. The people committing these foul deeds are all of the same ilk and all have one thing in common, and we don't need a pencil to work it out.
I have never, ever, had a problem with any Jewish people, but from the other side of the coin I've had plenty. Living and working in and around London, I've seen how different cultures can impact on ordinary British people, and why many can form a dislike/distrust towards people of certain cultures. I've been threatened by Islamic preachers on several occasions simply for being out for a beer in London, and they curse us for our way of life.
I know who I want as friends and allies, and it's not the likes of Hamas or it's supporters.

Hamas as Freedom fighters, well that's generous view, Freedom fighters usually protect the people they are fighting for, they do not use them as human shields.

If Hamas had spent as much money on creating a decent living for their people rather than on arms/materiele perhaps a lot more would support them.

Hamas knew exactly what they were doing on Oct 7th and it wasn't to improve the lot of their people

You can just imagine all those people watching them flying over and machinegunning hundreds of unarmed people to death, then taking the rest as hostages, and remarking that "it's OK, they're freedom fighters, not really bad people".

Basically it seems like the whole world is going to hell in a handcart and Britain is in the vanguard. We've got no control over our borders, the police are useless in keeping law and order, the kids run amok with the idea that whatever the do is right and they can't be touched theres no respect by people, either for themselves or anybody else. I worry about my kids and grandkids.. One of my sons lives in Portugal which seems safe and another is thinking of hopping off to Oz. I know if I had the money I'd be off to Japan.https://www.facebook.com/reel/818291...lYg&__tn__=H-R

#106 Probably the best time to hop off to Oz would be now while the present government is still in . A few years ago my neighbours who were newly arrived from the UK had a brother and sister in law also English who wanted to join them . The husband failed the English test and they were only from the midlands. The present ones in power aren’t too bright and now is the time to slip past the blind guard dogs , if push comes to shove just join a refugee boat the same as others getting into the UK. Cheers JS

Now that is a Country with a lovely calm History, 30 million Chinese civilians under its belt; plus other s in Asia, including beheading's of Aussie prisoners of war, for which no person higher that a major was executed, in fact they spared the Emperor so that he could carry on riding his white horse.

You are right John, it better be now or never, we have run out of housing for around 60,000 in NSW, don't know about the full country , but the talk in Labour circles is they will have to only let in Chinese and Indian students, as they live on campus mainly.

Now that would maybe be a deterrent to those who have beliefs out of this world . Without a head they would be barred from entering paradise where the 40 virgins are said to be waiting.? JS

Watched on TV last night as an Isreal tank came down this street, a car coming towards it stopped and turned back, the tank blew it up, now the TV didn't show any of it's usual ghoulish scenes, maybe there was only a family inside. War is evil.

Evil it definitely is Des, it is also tit for tat. Those Israeli citizens who were slaughtered their murderers have a lot yet to answer. Was the car flying a white flag ? If not it would be classed as hostile. JS

Look around the world at some countries such as Gaza, Iraq, Afghanistan and a few others.
The majority of the populous do not enjoy a lavish life style, but those at the top do.
they cream off all the best and what is left goes to the minions.

The Unis about as much use as the proverbial, and you may ask your self what are they doing.

They are doing a Nelson for one good reason.
Keep these countries where they are, give them resources but only just enough for sustenance.

For if they become physically strong they may then become politically strong and thus pose a problem for the West.
So, provide them with arms, give them all the ammo they need, assist them in provoking the others, for while they are at one another they are no real problem for the West.

I heard today about the number of Palestinian supports gathered in London for a march.
Not all from that faith, some just there for the day, but it shows the level of support for Gaza and the Uk and other govs should, take note.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.
