Re: gas units on meter
Hi Cappy, you consumed 6 cubic meters of gas, which equates to 167kw.
Gas is about on average 2.5 p per kw, your cost would be £1.75.

Re: gas units on meter
Here in Phoenix, Arizona U.S.A., I am charged the following MONTHLY fee: Total " THERMS " used, a basic service charge and applicable taxes. Seems pretty simple for a water heater, clothing dryer and furnace. One people usage for having a daily average temperate of 26.22 C was a bill of $ 19.08 U.S.D. for the month of November. Seems like I have it pretty damn good !

Re: gas units on meter
Here is some more monthly " utility " data for November:
Landline telephone: $ 34.92
City services ( water, sewer, trash & recycle ): $ 51.22
Internet & cable T.V.: $ 200.55
Electric power: $ 36.12
Sad thing is, the Native Americans, living in remote locations, have poor access to quality services. They are being ravaged by the COVID-19 outbreak. It does not help, the current governmental administration is " sabotaging " efforts to make the situation better. That WILL change on January 20, 2021...

Re: gas units on meter
Hell, I might as well tell all... I'm fully retired with adequate income. Supplemental health insurance is $ 156.23 a month. Auto insurance is $ 77.02 a month. My house is bought and paid for. The monthly tab:
Insurance: $ 41.42.
Property Tax: $ 69.77.
If I don't go crazy on credit cards, money will be spent on race cars ! ( third from left )
I love the U.K., however, can " afford " only to visit on rare occasions...
