I too got a lovely gift from Vernon when I met him up at Echo Point in the Blue Mountains.
It is on the wall facing me as I write. , Always a memory.

One Saturday a few weeks ago a parcel carrier arrived at my home and gave me a package.As I never receive parcels from anyone I was opening it very carefully looking for wires or batteries all clear so proceeded with the opening.Eventualy getting through the bubblewrap I came across a Hi-Ball Tumbler,it is enscribed with the MN badge,my name and DB number and the date and name of my first ship a very nice keepsake.Who was it from ?well I suppose it could only come from one person and that person being Vernon who I thanked very much.Vernon I have lost the picture of it that I sent you could you please attach it to this post.Once again Vernon thanks very much.

Just something that I like to do,as Friends are the Spice of life!

I could've done with a black background on that Vernon to show up the writing more I'l see if my grandson will do it for me when he comes down in a couple of days.
