[Keith Davies]

Just an introduction, name is Keith Davies (Keith) spent some twenty years at sea mostly on deck, discharge book R773021, and some twenty ships. My main interest at present is some research work for a PhD at Warwick Uni revolving around the Seamens Reform Movement in 1960 and the 1966 strike, if anyone has any relevant information etc I would like to hear from you. Also any information about the Liverpool stewards strike in 1955.I realise these event are now in the distant past, but as an EDH on the Crystal Jewel at the time in Birkenhead, I still retain an interest in the time and the political events surrounding that period. So once again any information would be appreciated

Thanks Vernon I have tried Google, but there is no evidence to go with peoples assertions, I'm sure the lads who use this site have more information, so I will wait and see what turns up, but thanks again, Keith
