I joined Blue Star as engineer in 1962.Sailed in Canterbury Star,Dunedin Star,Imperial Star,Santos Star,Melbourne Star.Also coasted Caledonian Star,Wellington Star,Malaysia[ Austasia Line]

Aye Aye Brian, I was on the Santos Star in 1960/61 when she was still the Constable under L and H, the Master was at that time Cpt Smith from Penarth. I don't know if he stayed with her as Master under Blue Star, as a lot of the officers would interchange between companies. Fine little ship and a great Skipper.

Hi Castleman,yes I was born in New Zealand.Glyn,I was on the Santos Star 5/12/64 till 12/6/65,and yes she was a fine little ship,a very happy one with agood crew.Many pleasant memories of BA,Monty ,Santos.
