Hello and thanks for allowing me to join your group. My late father Captain Harry Spensley was in the Merchant Navy and served during WW2, sadly I never knew him as he died when I was 4 months old. Over the years I have traced documents and photos of him, everything from his junior days to attending D Day meetings with Sir Winston Churchill.
