Lost Log Book
Hello
Unfortunately, some years back, the family dog chewed my log book. I sailed as 5th Engineer with the Silver Line Company on their ships MV Bishopsgate, MV Silver Beach, and MV Silver Sand during 1965-1967, and I wondered if ship logs and crew lists survive.

Re: Lost Log Book
Depending on when you started and finished, there are Discharge Book Copies available at Kew in London , at the National Archives.
Crew Lists as well are there, but again depending on timelines!
There are many Crew Lists at the University of Canada.
, Maritime Section. Maritime History Archive
When were you Born, and Where !
I will look up and see what is there.
Cheers

Re: Lost Log Book
Hello Doc, thank you for your kind offer. I was born on August 5, 1944, at Rochford Hospital, Southend. I joined the Silver Line's ore carrier MV Bishopsgate in Cardiff on August 14, 1965. I also made trips on the MV Silverbeach before I joined the MV Silversea and signed off on December 6, 1966.
Regards, Roy

Hello Royston
I found your Seamans Pouch Link at the NA Kew. This will have Basic Info in it, and if you want better info such as your full Sea Going Time you will also have to apply for your CRS10 File .
I will look that Link up as well a wee bit later and Post here as well.
Hope this will help
Cheers
