Hi all
Hi all
My father, Captain Ivan Keene Miller , worked for BP from 1946 to the mid 80's . I was looking for anyone who worked with him and possibly try to get some info on the ships he was on and maybe access to crew listings.
As a child I visited him on many tankers while more up in the Isle of Grain . Was just the most exciting thing . Getting to tour around the ship and feeling special as I was " the old man's " son .
I wish I could remember the ships name. I do know that my dad was on the British Grenadier the day I was born .
Any info would be great
Thanks

Good morning Andy, Welcome to the site, can you post your father's Discharge No or his place and date of birth for reference purposes to locate his
ships. Thank you

Re: Hi all
Andy
In 1967 I was a first trip deck cadet and I visited the British grenadier that was on the berth next to us as we were in Gothenburg discharging.
As an aside a very good friend of mine, sadly dying some years ago, lived in Salisbury and was an avid supporter of the local football team,
