Re: Hello, not new here but moved from SN
I gave SN many years ago, on numerous occasions after leaving the site I was bombarded with Malware.
Gave up SN no probs since.

Re: Hello, not new here but moved from SN
I got kicked off SN years ago because I dared to post that I had just had a book published and it was deemed as being seeking free publicity and advertising. I tried to explain was not interested in advertising just I was proud of having a book published and because of the nautical theme, thought people would like to know. Next thing I was banned. They seemed to forget all the good work and free research I did for families looking for information on those killed at sea during the war years..... There loss!!

Hi Victoria,
I have no intention of moving, any site that would allow you to be abused is not the site for me.
Cheers, Paul.

Re: Hello, not new here but moved from SN
#17. Deep sea, knowing how proficient you are on tracing back historical facts as well as a few more on this site , I would take it as a favour if you and others could assist me on helping a third person on tracing his nautical forebears in his family tree. He has been a good friend for many years and only recently found out how unwell he was, and would obviously like to complete the task before too late which is very close apparently. He has sent away to his brother in NZ for how far their enquires have gone and hopes to get the info.back over the next weekend, so will supply as receive. Good friends are hard to come by and is the least I could do under the circumstances. Cheers JS

So please go ahead and supply any Info you have and what it is you are seeking.
Full name and possible Year and place of Birth will be a good start!

NB Please start a new Thread with the info, as we can then not mix it with this Thread!
Thanks
