    Thumbs up Mort

Hi Mick and welcome a good crowd of lads aboard and lots of laughs if you look in the right places. I was DBS on the "Ruhine" in June/ July 1958 after hopping off the "Middlesex" in Kiwiland in '57 was that during your time ? The chief officer was your man Straker. Good health mate Mort.

I too was on the Ruahine, december 1955-1956. 2 trips just a young Belboy 19 days at sea from Panama to Auckland, with just a stop at Pitcairn, what a fantastic time we had on the coast, paid off with 7/6 old money.
