To John Rose
Hi John, we sailed on the Montreal City at the same time, I stood- by at Burntisland and was on her untill 4/16/64, I then went to st-by the Halifax City, Did Glan Phillips do a couple of voyages with B.C.L. or did he do some relieving at Avonmouth, I seem to recall a 2nd or 3rd mate from Newport at some point. Certainly remember Jo (tony Johasen) we sailed together on Halifax city, I sent him e-mail recently, no feed back as yet. Trust you are keeping well. Regards A.J. Mac. (lecky)
