thanks for your reply, some of the info about his ships came from the U-boat net site and some from other sources. I seems to be a very good site and if I find out about any other ships during my research, I will certainly use it again to check them.
The ships I have so far are:
Glenearn 162370 - scrapped Hong Kong 1967
Tafna 144000 - sunk by U-37 24/10/39
Benlawers 161822 - sunk by U-123 6/10/40
Bengloe 137058 - sprung a leak and sank 15/8/48
Pentirion 147731 - sunk by U-37 24/10/39
Akenside 140680 - sunk by U-37 22/9/39
Benrinnes 145884 -reported missing(foundered) 24/1/57
San Ernesto 167214 - torpedoed and shelled by Jap sub I-37 drifted 2000miles and sank of Sumatra
