Stan Dickson L&OF 1963-1977
Hello - I am hoping to find any information relating to my late father Stanley Dickson who served for L&OF from May 1963 until his untimely death in April 1977. As I was only 12 when he died and my mother has also since passed away, I am hoping to piece together any information about my father. If anyone can contribute, please do get in touch - many thanks.

Hello Lee and welcome to the site. I hope that you have success with tracking down your late Father's career. Do you by chance have his old Discharge Book in your possession which will list his ships. His date of birth would be useful and I am sure one of our archive experts will be able to assist. Basically any information you can provide could prove really useful. As I say D.O.B, where he was born, what capacity he served as i.e. deck, engine room, catering, radio etc.. Good luck with your quest.
