Tony that is the Church of the Latter dat Saints with it's headquarters in Salt Lake City. They have the most comprehensive lists in the world. One of the tasks of each member is to trace the family tree. Not sure about UK but here in Oz all their churches ahve a geneolagy section.They have people all over the world looking for records to add to the list. Great place to begin and all they charge for is photo copying etc.

My Family Tree
Good morning one and all. John here again. I am still laid up. 15 months now. Am informed I have a long way to go yet. So my Family Tree continues to grow. On my fathers side I get to 1850 however on my mums side I have got back to 1390 and still no skeletons in the cupboard.
