The latest that I have access to is Albert Hills trip on the “Minnekahda” which arrived in New York on the 1st February 1920, having sailed from London he was Engineers Steward aged 19. height 5’ – 4”. he had signed in London 16th January 1920, there was a crew of 204

There is another entry on the “Minnekahda” for an Edward Hills as Engineers Steward signed on in London 27th March 1920, the ship arrived in New York 6th April 1920, a problem arise as his Dis No appears to be 098766. he may have left the sea and rejoined with a new DisA No ??

    Ray,
I have just been into the local library and found him on "Ancestry" on the Minnekahda arriving New York 19th November 1919. I have also found back in Gravesend in 1928.
I have also contacted Maritime Archives as per Hugh's advice.
    Getting there
    Mike
