Thanks Evan, sounds like her, She was from Grays and she invited me to call and see her when I was home. She said she had a Caravan in Romney Marsh, where ever that is.and we could stay there.
Good to see is still around.
    Cheers
    Brian.

Think you may do well to apply for a "dangerous animal" import license also.

But Brian, on a cold morning somewhere in a strange port she may have looked like a maiden of the night. I am sure the night before when when full as a boot such a lady would have been the centre of attraction. Years later you dream of her and awaken screaming!

    Wink Same Girlfriends

    Hi
In all your fond memories of far away ports everyone seems to think AU/NZ/SA were the places to party.
Let me let you into a little secret.
St. John N.B. In late 60's early 70's there were only 3 licensed places where the locals could buy alcohol so ships with bars were a magnet. We used to do our winter runs there on the Beavers (apt name that) and we partied evey night from 2000 to 0700 the next day with a change of shift for the girls at around 0100. This went on for 21 days on trip and actually wore out our deck boys. I recall going through the creww mess where a very attractive young lady was stark naked on the table pleasuring herself with a tomato ketchup bottle and not one of the lads were interested in her, they were all tucking into their weekly steak night.
We used to have humungous parties with the Manchester Liner lads where the girls outnumbered the men by at least 4 to 1 and please don't get me talking about the Phillippines where they used to hire buses to follow us from port to port on Mindenao

    Default John who needed buses!!!!!!!!!

I can remember on a few occasions going around the land before sailing deep sea on a number of ships out of Liverpool. The ladies of the night would sail with you and pay off at your last port of call before you sailed deep sea. You could never get near the showers before about 7pm i remember a Federal boat we loaded Liverpool/Glasgow/London/Cardiff/Then back to Liverpool for deck cargo/ There were at least 6 girls that stayed aboard. And then jumped ship back in Liverpool/ Happy days mate Terry.
