    Default Greetings from Wales

Hello from the beautiful North Wales coast, where I retired to . after spending 10 years at sea ,sailing out of Liverpool 1955 - 1965 . We can still see the ships sailing in and out of Liverpool , not so many now tho ,as in my days when there seemed to be an endless stream of ships moving in and out . Sadly most of those big companys have gone . Very many good memories of my days at sea .
All good wishes from Jim Parker

    Default Hi there

    Hi Barrie Jim,

Just a quick word. I might be coming to live in South Wales soon. Hubby is changing jobs from Holland. I used to sail with Blue Flue, Ed's and Glen Line. (Wife on Board) Welcome to the forum.

Stay in touch and watch this space.

    Default Hi guys

It's all a bit pie in the sky but since yesterday and an e-mail things are moving on. I suspect we'll end up somewhere near the Vale of Glamorgan but it might now be January although I will be popping across between now and then for week ends if it all works out. Very complicated arrangements to get us back to the UK. We might now have to do it in stages. We won't know until after next week. There is a possibility I might come over for a couple of weeks at a time as well. So stay in touch. Hubby might have to commute for a while from Holland depends on the company arrangements. We do have family in both places.

This was a quick mail cos I am packing to go on hols.

    Back soon

Took some thought and aware of banter etc, but posting and hope for serious answers etc, please anyone that can can assist, would welcome good advice only, that I may reply with.

RE: My niece's daughter will be studying in Wales next year. She is a student at Iowa State University in Industrial Engineering. Any tips for a Wales-bound young woman? She is beautiful, smart and has a great voice. She was a finalist in the Miss Iowa contest at the Iowa State Fair. (Which if you ever come to the states it is something to see.)

Please reply only if the answer and info are favourable. As the young lady both deserves our respect and Family both may look in / follow up.

Regret that I have to post with a near disclaimer, but can remove all if nes.

Genuine, requests in the best possible taste?

    Thanks,

    K.
