hello my name is nathan hayman and my father john graham hayman was in the merchant navy from 1950-1956 on various ships his last ship was the ss garryvale. does any one remember him during this time. he originaly comes from plymouth but now lives in sydney australia

thanks alf. his full name is john graham hayman dob 16/12/1935. i dont konw the first ship he was on but i have found out he was on the stylhurst, hans p carl, cedar hill, sabella and sula between 1950-1956

If your Dad lives in Sydney and wants to contact other ex Merchant Seamen [especially if he was on the Vindicatrix traing ship in Sharpness, but not nessesary] get him to contact Terry Hales the sec of the Vindi branch in Sydney on 0242375736 they have get togethers at the Piermont Hotel, and Xmas on the Harbour.
