But wars of any kind he wants, it keeps the munition factories in business

Well I see Trump has ensured Mark Carney the former bank of England Governor has been elected as the new Canadian PM . Canadians do not like to be bullied. The Liberal goverment in Canada was a dead duck, but thanks to Trumps bully boy tactics the electorate have given Trump and the USA the finger.

Rumour has it that Trump is trying to get the UK Government to let the British Open Golf Championship be played at his course Turnberry Course in 2028. I hope the R&A tell the government to keep their nose out of it.
The nominated course for 2028 has already been decided and that is supposed to be Muirfield.
Normally the Venues to be are on a rota over 7 years. It is scheduled for Turnberry (Trump owns it)but the R&A says he will have to sell it?
I think the reason it was dropped from the rota was when Trump bought it he changed the name from Royal Turnberry to Trump Turnberry.

My money is on the Government geting their way , they will bend over backwards and do anything Trump demands so as we can get the Trade deal, we are that ducked without it.

Also the R&A membership I am sure has not got many Labour voters amongst their ranks

He has said he is now willing to talk with us here in Oz.
Suspect this is because we have a few thing USA needs.
We have for a number of years sold steel and aluminum to them for the car industry.
Reason is quite simple, their own factories cannot provide enough.

As a result of his actions China will now but apples from us, and have increased the amount of beef as it no longer comes from USA..
The approval rating after 100 days in office, at some 37%, is the lowest for any president ever in USA
Says something about how Joe Public feel.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.

Like him or hate him you have to admit he can certainly get an audience to love him. Yesterday his 100 days speech went on for 90 minutes without recourse to any notes or Autocue, unlike our lot who AKA biden, cannot speak without the use of notes or trotting out pre prepared statements.

Thing is was he making a speech or just, blathering away. Fidel Castro was another one who could rabbit on for hours.
Other leading politicians need to be pretty accurate in what they say as someone is recording the speech. With Trump is well known for lying and then he says it is fake news when is being asked by a member of the press. Usually his first response is to insult either the indivdual or the Media outlet they work for.

#46 And they all received their just rewards Tony , although generally doubt still persists about Hitler, however Mussolini was strung up on a lamppost by his own people , Saddam most know about and the present dictators with bad conscience’s must live from day to day. JS

I would never make a politician as have had to make a short shopping list for this mornings shopping and I bet I still forget a couple of items. That’s during the time looking at and taken off the shelf about 3 seconds , so that’s my short term memory span. Now long term memory can still remember Sadjico in Kawasaki in 1953. That’s 72 years for anyone who can’t do maths. Cheers JS.

    Hi John
As I do the shopping these days I dash in and dash out, but this morning went down to Coles for a Barbecued chicken and two loaves got the bread but all the chickens had gone, have to wait now until 12/30 for the next lot, Woolworth's have them but don't put stuffing in, not the same.
Freezing here today hence the chicken dinner LoL.
