On the net today a statement from a French gov minister.

Of course they want to go to the UK for a better life. But the people smugglers could end their trade if UK made it legal for these people to enter UK.
Yes it would, but did he consult with the residents of Uk, somehow I doubt it.
From what I have been told they certainly do not want any more.
And if they do arrive where will they be stored?
My nephew took his two kids for lunch yesterday. He went to a well known pub on the outskirts of Gateshead, but when he got there he struggled to get in as the place was crowded out with asylum seekers who were being housed in the Travel Lodge adjoining the pub.
He gave up and went elsewhere.

You omitted the damage by Blair and Brown who bankrupted the country.

Anyway can see ww3 breaking out here again over UK politics, cannot understand your concerns about the place. You made your choice and decided to leave the UK.
Just a quick post to let you know that not all on site are Conservative or in Oz. Liberal die hards and can not give credit to labour where it is due. James I bet you can recall they blame Labour for everything even when they have been in power for over a decade. Then blame Labour for the mess that they leave behind. To be honest they make me sick with their one eyed views.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

Les, there are good and bad on all sides.
Bill Shorten is a member for a constituencies not far from where we live.
He is well respected and I have met him on a couple of occasions, he is one of the more genuine ones.

But then we have our local guy, loves photo shoots but does not do a lot for the community.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.
