    Default St Georges Day

Happy Saint Georges day to all.

A recent poll carried out by the Daily Express states that Labour supporters are more likely to classify Saint Georges flag as racialist.

It's just another woke thing, thought up by the anti English twats. I saw on the BBC earlier, that there was to be march in London, by the supporters of England's flag. It was added, by the way, that it would probably consist of "right wing football hooligans, headed by Tommy Robinson, who is currently waiting to go on trial for something, and the march had permission to proceed".
I wonder how much of that was added to make a point? Why can't they just say "there will be a march to celebrate St Georges day in London"?

    Happy St Georges day Everyone.

Glad to see you back Johnny hope you’ve found your land legs again. That’s why us Geordies kept our options open round about the Berwick area when stopped by the Redcoats and asked were we for George or Charles the usual reply was “ Why Aye man we’re Geordies “ , so if things went the other way could always deny saying George. Paddy celebrates St Patrick's day.
    Jock with St Andrews day.
    Taffy with St David.
So what is so wrong with celebrating St George?

But of course to do so you must be a Brit, maybe that is the problem, wonder who the illegals use to celebrate?

I see on the telly this morning the BBC report on yesterdays St Georges day parade. There doesn't seem to be many flag wavers there at all, the only one's they show, are about a dozen being held by hundreds of police persons. I had thought of going up there myself, I would have been on the telly by the look of it.

    Hi John.
With the number of drownings in the Channel maybe they wave a flag for Davey Jones.

Today in Australia is Anzac Day. And as I have done for the past 3 years have always attended their ceremony of rememberance especially as where I live is a RAAFA village and although the residents are not all ex RAAFA the service is always well attended by the residents , this year it was really crowded , and this is before they go on to bigger parades outside the village. Anzac has always been the big rememberance I can remember living in Australia and long may it remain, it certainly brings the community together and shows everyone the futility of war, and at the same time remembering the non survivors of such.

There is no right in war, only that left.

Anzac day is big here in Melbourne.
At noon buglers stand at all major intersections, play the last post and the city comes to a standstill.

Local ceremonies in all towns, we had one at 0600 hours today and in the city the dawn service and later the Anzac parade.
A day to reflect, pay homage and remember all those who gave so we may remain.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
