Re: uk civil war
Being a good cavalryman and leader of a well disciplined army, when they reached the village of Roslin in Scotland, Cromwell being a Puritan never allowed any damage to be carried out on Rosslyn Chappel. Even the castle in the village was destroyed. One wonders, was he an admirer of the craftsmen's work in stone in the structure of the building?.

Re: uk civil war
Nothing to do with the left, the protests are about the on going genocide being committed by the Israeli state on women & children in Gaza.
I wonder will Frank Hester face charges if his alledged comments are proved will they be considered as a hate crime.
Also will the Tories give back the £10 million he has donated to the conservative party coffers. I won't hold my breath.
Yes Ms Abbot is annoying at times and it would appear she is a racist herself.

Re: uk civil war
Frank Hester made his comments in 2019, took the Guardian five years to drag it up. He has apologised for his remarks.
As far as I can see no one has asked Hammas to stop firing rockets into Isreal.
Like the cowards they are Hammas use Innocent civilians as human shields when firing their rockets.
Will Angela Rayner be forced to payback the money she made on her discounted house sale.
According to her neighbours Ms Rayner hasn't lived in the council house for years. It has been occupied by her brother.

#11 Fouro in Rosylin Chapel there are stone carvings of tobacco leaves which predate Sir Walter Raleigh introducing it to the Uk . Which shows the possibility of history not being 100% correct. Scotland was the first country in Britain where the remnants of the Knights Templar took refuge from King Phillip of France and the Pope in his Vatican who tried to demonise them so as to take their money and lands. History is not always correct it depends who writes it. There is supposed to be , no doubt long destroyed , of a chronicle of
Judas Iscariot if was ever divulged would have changed the whole course of Christianity. If Hitler had won the last war no doubt the history of the past would also have had errors and omissions corrected. Cheers JS

Reflux can be a problem at times, when it is I take Nexium, but I do not think that will fix your problem here John.,
January 1649 saw the end to the English civil war when Charlie took a cut on his position.
Things could get far worse if those radicals from all over were to get their act together.
It is up to the people of sane minds to do something to stop it.
Begin by finding the correct style of government.

Re: uk civil war
Vic, when did she buy the house 2007 and sold it in 2015 , that was before she was an MP. Her husband, Mark Rayner, also owned a separate home nearby. The couple decided to keep their properties separate during this period. She never rented the property out, her brother lived in it. If she is guilty of anything it maybe for CGT, which is unlikely as the profit made from the sale doe not fall into CGT bracket.
Tories trying to sling mud and see if it sticks. Peanuts compared to the dodgy dealings on the tory side of the house.
Revealed: the full inside story of the Michelle Mone PPE scandal. PPE Medpro and partners made as much as £100m profits. At least £70m from PPE Medpro contracts taken offshore
Have you been watching the TV progarmme The rise and fall of Boris Johnson? what a plonker.

Re: uk civil war
Boris was different that is true.
But was he as stupid as some think?
I doubt it, he was clever enough to know what the majority wanted with BREXIT.
Right or wrong he got it done.
Cameron was the fool for even considering the referendum on EU membership.
As to the number 10 drink up.
Boris obviously upset some.
He lived in a small apartment within number 10.
Comes home to find all the public servants who work there on the P15s, so he has a drink.
A smart rear ender takes a photo and it is good night Boris.
From across the globe and seeing the situation I do not consider him to have been stupid by any means.

Re: uk civil war
The biggest mud singers are the Labour Party, always trying to find fault. Never admit to their own failings.
She, allegedly didn't live in the house, from neighbours. Which was wrong.
She completed the electoral role incorrectly, which is a crime.

Re: uk civil war
Vic no response about , Michelle Mone? perhaps that is the left that brought that to light
Grasping at straws Vic. Never mind we all know that the next crowd sitting in government benches will be no better than this lot.
The tories fear Angelia Rayner, a bit of a girl flashing her box at Boris during PM Questions struggled to string two words togather. Ah!!!te power of a ginger min-ge
