At the time we built blocks were large, often up to half an acre.
But now much smaller, down to maybe 450 sq meters.
Hoses now smaller, all the mod cons such as laundry etc but rooms are a bit smaller.
Our bathroom and laundry are as big as the third bedroom in the house of our niece living on UK south coast.
Many designs originated in USA at a time when big was better, but there is a cost when it comes to heating and maintenance.
But from about $175.000 to now worth about $900.00
