Re: Mobile Phone
That is the problem.
5 year olds know how to use them, how to fix them when things go wrong.
Problem is there is not always a five year old around when you nee done.

Re: Mobile Phone
I was going to start a phone throwers association when my more sensible Daughter turned up and gave my wife and me instructions on the basic which is all we want, no banking or playtime just a phone, found out it costs the same monthly as the ordinary phone which we don't use a lot anyway, we only wanted the convenience while out, in case.

Re: Mobile Phone
Des, may I suggest the 'Seniors Phone'
It has larger keys for the visually challenged, is large so can be easily found, has a 000 button on it for emergencies and will fit in a hand bag.
That is what the advetr said,

That is what the advetr said,
I bought one for my mother a few years ago, very useful and fairly easy to understand, only used for emergencies. I also bought her a landline phone which would send out a call for help to three selected phone numbers in rotation, if no one answered then it would call emergency services. It was initiated by a button pendant round her neck or from a wrist strap like a watch.

It was announced at the weekend, the mobile phone is the biggest killer of all.
