Re: Collapse of nato
No arguement there Mo , the empire made a regular habit of that. Famine was wonderful tool used to thin the masses down.
No relief is the best relief

All of this did little to stir the colonial administration into action. In the mid-19th Century, it was common economic wisdom that government intervention in famines was unnecessary and even harmful. The market would restore a proper balance. Any excess deaths, according to Malthusian principles, were nature's way of responding to overpopulation.
Anyway getting away from the topic here about NATO.

Re: Collapse of nato
Little NATO can do to prevent what will happen in a few years time.
India currently supports Russia by buying oil and gas from them, others are not or are banned from doing so.
Population of India now more than China with the gov there telling people to go to other lands as there is a shortage of space.
Over time between India and China USA will become neutered as the two via for overall control of the world as we now know it.
Little us then for NATO or the UN, both will go the way of the Dinasaur.

Re: Collapse of nato
You speak of the collapse of NATO, well I just read a story that is certain the beginning of the end for sanity.
It is reported that a man who married a Rag Doll which has just given birth to their third Rag doll child, is very concerned as his real wife has been taken to hospital after collapsing.!!!!!
What is going on in the minds of some???

#27 John you posted it!!! what is going on in the minds of some? Rough night was it John
Concerning India exporting her surplus man power/ woman power well the UK would be short a few Cabinet ministers and also without Indians the NHS would grind to a halt as well might the Health system in Australia.
During the empire years the UK landed gentry employed Indians to run their overseas plantations around colonies.

Re: Collapse of nato
No such thing James.
It was posted on the net yesterday.
Yes, the PM of India has told the population some must go to other countries to live.
Figure released today show that some 80,000 of the came to live here in Oz over the past 5 years.

Re: Collapse of nato
I'm afraid it was the decision not to drive the Russians out of Europe that caused the cold war, and no doubt any other Russian atrocities that followed, like Ukraine.
China got their confidence, by observing how the US and others reacted to Churchills plea to drive the Russians out.
But, what is done, is done.
