Girls allowed?
A recent item in my local paper reported that a teacher (male) was reported to the principal for greeting his class of females with ‘Good Morning Girls’, obviously ignoring gender neutrality and with the possibility of losing his position. Oh dear. One wonders if a Sir is a Sir anymore.

Re: Girls allowed?
Well you could say 'good morning everybody' but no doubt someone would complain that it was too inclusive and that they were a binary individual.

Re: Girls allowed?
And it was a "Girls Only" school, as I read it. I have no time for all this political correctness. What is this country coming to?.

Re: Girls allowed?
One would hope the Principal suggested the one making the complaint to actually consider how rediculios the complaint was, and showed them te door.

Re: Girls allowed?
In my schooling pre war; the teacher came into the classroom, slapped his cane on his desk and said in a loud voice , "Right lets start the lessons." Pins dropping could be heard in the school yard. Later during the war we were able to speak up some.

Busy destroying society as you know it, all must be the same now no special divisions.
I have a badge I wear as a volunteer, on it my name John and underneath him/he.
Black marker through that bit and when asked why told them I am who I am not who you think I should be.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Girls allowed?
Nothing to stop parents or grandparents to inundate the Headteacher with phone calls of protest, with placards even and the local News Paper reporter at the school gates for added effect. 'Tis all about making noise, the loudest wins.
