the jubilee
As the jubilee for our queen arrives ...i am hoisting a 5 foot by 8 foot MN flag ouside my house ......also a st george cross and a union flag ...the village and our next door village are having a party with brass band food stalls and general party mode plus the local pub is offering services all day ....i am pleased to celebrate our queen who has given service to this country beyond reproach .....god bless her ..guess some of our members on this august site willalso be joining the celebrations ......R683532 cappy

How about putting a big Red Dragon flag up, after all she did give us her son, even if we didn't like it.

Not sure if there will be any celebrations here in Oz but the pro monarchy lot are strong so no doubt something will occur

Well we are having a high tea organised by one of the residents and think there’s about 200 hundred going to that on the 5 th June plus they have at least one CD they have of Buckingham Palace that I know as have loaned them of the Queen that they can show on the large full size film screen they have in the main hall complete with bar facilities , if they want to use . No doubt other residents will have contributed to the festivities , might even go myself as is only 100 yards away , with the excuse I’m here for the beer. People shouldn’t doubt the draw string of the Queen , and even her family , it is well worth having a monarch of such integrity rather than only a bunch of self seeking in some cases Despots .JS.

#6 Is it worth 3/9d for me not to tell Pat, just think of that in the winter, just because the sun is shining now ,in a couple of months the sleet and snow will be back. And you’ll still be in the shed Cheers . JS
