The price
This will make you think, and we’ll never accept the reasons for the increase it makes us think about the others who rip us off.
Can of Red Bull, 250ml, $2.95 … $11.80 per litre!
Robitussin Cough Mixture, 200ml, $9.95 …. $ 49 per litre !
L’Oreal Revitalift Day Cream, 50ml, $29.95 … $599.00 per litre!
Bundy Rum, 1250ml, $51.00 … $40.80 per litre!
Visene Eye Drops, 15ml, $5.69 … $379.00 per litre!
Britney Spears Fantasy Perfume,50ml, $29 … $580.00 per litre!
And this is the REAL KICKER.
Evian water, 375 ml, $2.95 …$7.86 per litre!
$7.86 for a litre of WATER!!
And the buyers don’t even know the source? (Evian spelled backwards is NAIVE!!)
Ever wonder why computer printers are so cheap?
So, they can hook you for the ink!!
Someone calculated the cost of the ink at, you won’t believe it but it’s true; $1,040 a litre.
$1040.00 A LITRE!!!
So, while I drive around the country towing my van paying $2.30 per litre for diesel I’m thankful my 4×4 doesn’t run on water, Red Bull, Robitussin, L’Oreal or printer ink!! However is it me or does the Bundy Rum look good value !

John
Every time I fill up I say to the attendant, people complain about the petrol price then go and buy a bottle of water.

Re: The price
Not me Des I go and buy a bottle of whiskey or whisky depending on the finances , but still complain about the cost of. Now water , ever since we came out here my wife insisted we buy drinking water , we buy the big plastic containers which are now $12 I think and are delivered to the door. Anything to keep the peace. When you think of some of the water we drank when there was nothing else, makes me shudder today. Who ever thought in those days we would be using it in our old age to pacify others who listen to all the claptrap about water being the elixir of life and good health. Good advertising or better knowing as brain washing has come a long way since our youth.

Re: The price
Melbourne water is considered to be the best in the country.
Adelaide water on the other hand is just about undrinkable.
But the worst I ever had was desalinated water in Greece, think they forgot to take the salt out.

Re: The price
Have never and will never (if humanly possible ) but Bottled Water!
We have been drinking Tap water for all our lives now , and still no ill effects, so why pay for it!
Like Des says too, Petrol may be costly, but Oh! Bottled Water!
But even now with the price of Fuel, my new Mazda 2 Auto, i must say is very good on Fuel. Mind you that is respectful Driving! Always stay on the Speed Limits nowdays! 44 Litre Tank gets me Plus Minus 720 km. Not bad!

Re: The price
We buy demijohns of water, $4, my wife has kidney problems and can't take the stuff they put in the water. The tap water here is good at times other times its muddy, depends on when they cleaned the big tank on the hill.
