Re: BBC 4 2100 hrs tonight
It was British kicking British out Lewis. Politics again with a smattering of disloyalty leading to traitorship. The cause of most wars. George Washington was in fact a British Citizen I believe. Renounced the same as William Joyce . We all practice our own thoughts on history in the hope we hit the correct answer, with a bit of luck Graham will now bring in the Boston Tea party , if he does I’m plumping for Brooke Bonds which used to pay a dividend.Cheers JS.

Re: BBC 4 2100 hrs tonight
As with all countries at some time in their history they have either been taken over or invaded.
Some get over it and move on, some rebel.
but that is the way the world works.

Re: BBC 4 2100 hrs tonight
Seems an expensive way to detonate .How many rounds from that type of machine gun does it take to detonate ?.
Would have thought a string fuse and a swan vestas would have been much cheaper.
Always remember that old Irish song “ My name is Haggerty Murphy I’m the leader of the band “ , my old mans party piece every New Year , knew when that came out he was close to the end , and so could my mother , think he did as well as shortly after he went non comementis and rarely saw the new year in. If he managed to last until Irish eyes are smiling he was soon flat on his back and would of though he had been KOed by Rinty Monaghan .
Cheers JS
