    Default Amnesia

A program on TV the other night was probing the cause of Amnesia in adults.
A well known professor who specializes in such matters came up with two what he calls valid reasons.

The first involves stress in our formative years, young persons who endure such at an early age before the brain is fully functional and capable of handling such will later in life suffer from amnesia.

Events of the early parts of life can in later life bring about this as a means of blocking from the mind the events of early child hood.

The second reason which will shock many is the rate ta which we engage in sexual intercourse.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Too much apparently can also cause Amnesia.

That can be very true I suspect as there are many 'ladies' I escorted that I can no longer remember.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Had to go back to the beginning of the thread to remember what it was all about, the bit about sexual intercourse made my mind wander off.

I knew a bloke who suffered short term memory loss, "Happend whenever it was his round",
he said he'd had memory loss for as long as he could remember . cheers

I often wonder how they come to such conclusions, is it from personal experience or from supersition and stories from others?
