Long life

There are so many Long Life products on the market now, from Milk to Cheese and so many other food items.

But now there is another one.

A lady in USA, where else one may ask, has produced a Big Mac and Fries from 1996.

They have been kept in the bag they were served in and kept in an old shoe box.

Why, who knows some people keep very odd things, reminds me of the mother in law and he husband............................

To look at they are as good as the day they were made.

Now it is said you ae what you eat, so if you wish to live for ever the answer is a daily Big Mac and Fries.

If mold spoors wouldn't munch on them, why should I? The last meal I had in a MacDonald's was when my youngest son put up a fuss for a happy meal...he is 53 in two weeks time and quit stamping his feet when he went into second grade of school. It truly lived up to the name junk food.

I suppose like all other things its each to his own.
I have and always will love the McDonald Burgers, and i think the French Fries are the best!
One of my favourites that i have more than likely once a Week when i go ot on a Saturday morning to the Shops ,is a Bacon and Egg McMuffin, oh so yummy!

I well remember the hamburgers in London before the Golden Arches arrived, there was a chain of them often sold in the Lyons Corner shops.

Only eaten Macdonalds once in my life, that was in London in 1986.
It was a Cheese burger wrapped in greaseproof paper, even if I had left the paper on I doubt the taste would have been any better.
I can still recall the indigestion.

Nowt wrong with the occasional Macdonald's though here in the U.K. they are about 2/3rd the size of the ones you get in the USA.
Who can remember the crap ones served in Wimpey bars?

I worked in Saudi for a couple of months (1980's) and they opened a McDonalds and believe me, it was the best meal we'd had for a long time.

Lyons Corner House was terrific with its Hamburgers and other Foods ,always nice and fresh and served with a smile from those lovely Lasses ( Nippy's )who worked there! Went out with one at one time too.

The old Wimpy Bars were not too b ad, but of course not half as good as McDonalds as i recall, however i ate in them many a time, had them in South Africa .

That was the place Vernon, and yes the Wimpey bars.

My mother worked in one during WW2 for some time.
It was in the Oxford Street London one that I once met with Ronnie Kray of the infamous Kray twins.
