No we're not going off course it was a large section of the programme.
As for McClusky he was a laugh a minute, you would have thought he and his ilk were the saviours of shipping/shipbuilding/dock industry instead of the destroyers, he certainly wins the prize for self-delusion.
they conveniently forget about the Africans and Arabs who actually captured the slaves and sold them to the highest bidder. I dont suppose the original traders who went to Africa were specifically going for slaves, they were merchant venturers who explored what was to be had for their trade goods.

Re: The Mersey on t.v.
Moat of the BLM terrorists, because that is what they are, do not give a stuff about it.
They want the publicity but have no concept of what they are protesting about.
But they do not make nay attempt to find out the truth, rather rely on the Facebook lies that come out.

Re: The Mersey on t.v.
John, they are not even bothered about the Facebook lies, they just want to be anti establishment and disruptive, the cause doesn't matter, even the BLM leaders say they have been hijacked by people with no cause.

Re: The Mersey on t.v.
There was to be a BLM demonstration today in Sydney, but the courts said it was not on.
But the leaders still went ahead with the meeting only to be met by Police and fined $1000 each.
Suddenly the message went out on Facebook and the fest never arrived.
Best way to deal with them.
