    Default For whose benefit ?

Has anyone noticed or remarked on the ball games that are shown on tv played to an almost zero audience as the stands are nearly empty. How the crowd noise is stil there in all its amplification. I rarely watch these games in any case but there are times when they are running late which is almost always , as programs rarely run to time, have to watch for various intervals of time.Is this to give the players a reason to play to the adulation of their non existant audience ? , or to try and fool the tv audience ? as they frequently try with their other programs aptly described as fake news , maybe old habits die hard. This applies to Australian tv, don’t know about other parts of the world.

same here, they are trying to create an atmosphere, still waiting to see how they recreate the after game punch ups.

Some could make profits if they play in front
of NO fans with bumper TV pay deals.

Crowd noise in the back ground courtesy of some media splurge.
On a number of games there have also ben dummies put in the stands to make it appear a bit more life like.
The codes will go to any length just to keep the game going.
Here in Oz most of the game snow have been moved to Queensland because of the Virus.
Bit odd as that is a Rugby strong hold state.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.
