Non Maritime News
From todays Daily Express.
A plane bound for London City Airport to Dusseldorf, landed at Edinburgh.
Passengers thought the pilot was joking when he announced that they had arrived safely at Edinburgh.
An investigation is being carried as to why the wrong instructions were sent to the plane.

Re: Non Maritime News
Saw that Vic, wonder if the pilot had Italian heritage and felt he needed to stay close to land in order not to loose his way or maybe he was just frightened of flying over water. Whatever flying from London to Germany you have to go over something called the north sea which is pretty difficult to miss so you would have thought the pilot would have questioned his paperwork before or shortly after take off.

That’s what happens when you don’t put way points into the computer. He may have also forgotten to put in the destination as well by the sounds of it. JS

It wasn't one of those Boeing's was it? He might have been frightened to go to far. They now have an airfield in the States with loads of them parked up, technology one step to far.

Re: Non Maritime News
I've got it, all the passengers had voted for Brexit , so after boarding; they told the pilot they didn't want to go to Europe; so he took them to Edinburgh to teach them a lesson.

Re: Non Maritime News
According to the airline the wrong route was programed into the air crafts computer.
Just think when the driverless cars take over, what fun that will be!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently another one has had to make an emergency landing on its' way to be parked up there.

Re: Non Maritime News
I think you will find that the airline has been taking lessons from the gov.
By their standard it looks very easy to lose your way.
