Re: History of Toilet Paper
Slightly away from toilet paper but on the same theme. Anyone been to Boqueron a small sugar port on the south coast of Cuba , right up practically up to the wire of the US Guantanamo naval base. There was a bar on the jetty frequented by all hands at meal hours smokos and any other excuse, like going ashore for draft figures it was that close. One lunch time all hands in there and from where I was sitting could see right into the one toilet cubicle . Saw this junior engineer sitting on the pot his boiler suit around his ankles , he hooooeeed between his legs into his boiler suit , pulled his boiler suit back on and came back out and continued drinking. That’s what I call a confirmed drinker , maybe he is on site and can remember , I squirm just to think of it. Cheers JS

Re: History of Toilet Paper
Bali, that wonderful island of so many dreams.
Most of the hotels are good, but at to Loo paper that is a different story.
For some reason only known to the Indonesians the paper is of a very odd quality, so odd that it is often full of holes.
It looks at times like a bit of crocuer work.
The skill is to take enough sheets to cover all the holes, otherwise the only answer is to learn how to playa Flute so your fingers know where the holes are.
On average I reckon the average tourist would use at least one roll per person per day.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Maybe that’s where the Bali Belly originated from John. Holy toilet paper, not blessed properly. JS...
