In its infinite wisdom the EU Parliament is considering banning words containing man.

Mankind would be replaced by Humanity ( still got man in it)
Manmade -Artificial
Anpower - staff
Statesman - Political Leader
Stewardess - Flight attendant
Headmaster - Rincipal
Fireman - Firefighter
Chairman- Chairperson
Spokesman - Spokesperson

Nodoubt there will be many more, and to think these people are on enormous salaries,mind boggles
