No one in Japan is unemployed. All are found work of some sort, and all workers be they low paid or executives are regarded as part of the community and of worth.

Re: Trumps visit.
There was a time when England was seen as a very warm and welcoming nation, tolerant and peaceful.
Now it has changed and not for the better, the Trump visit shows how some of the people are being lead by the nose by a group of persons from the looney left.
People who think the world owes them something, not interested in democracy any more, only want to make the place worse not better.
Leaders who are in positions of trust betraying that for their own personal gains.
England is no longer the place I grew up in, gone are the real people replaced by those from overseas who see the country as a source of income and benefits without any input from them.
To carry on the way they are over the visit of a national duly elected leader is despicable.
I do hope some of the harsh words on site are not a reflection of how the nation is changing, as seamen we were a trusted happy group, yes we had differences byt we never stooped to slaging each other off such as is now occurring. Lads pull your heads in before they get chopped off.

Rob you found your 1st book but cant find 2 others , I have my Norwegian book + 2 other British books R850909 .But maybe someone can help , my first book was probably put ashore in Australia when I jumped the Sugar Importer in Brisbane, after stowing away to New Zealand on the Port New Plymouth ,I eventually worked my way back home on the Cumberland , with a paper discharge . How would I get my first book or ships entered in it back ???
