Imagine someone would start a new one re:
    his visit to the UK.

I would though suggest it be closed.

The funny thing is if it hadn't been for the howls of protest he'd have been shook at the NATO summit in Brussels then jumped on the plane , shook hands with t May had lunch , tea with the queen had a round of golf at his Aberdeen golf course and gone off to Meet the Russians . And to be perfectly honest I don't think the average Brit in the street would have noticed

Trump is right, so many members of NATO reap the benefits but do not pay in, they are no better than the bums and stiffs who live off the public purse rather than work.
But those waiting in London to protest may be in for a shock as he will be no where near there.
Meeting the PM at her country retreat, staying at the American embassy and of to Scotland to play golf.
Then of to Helsinki to meet Putin.

He has some very sound policies, trade wars hopefully will bring about a far more level playing field than currently exists. His manner is what puts some off, not his policies.

But maybe some in the West should take a leaf out of the book of Japan, no social there, work or starve. But there is work for all even if only sweeping leaves from grave sites, no one is left out and no one looked down on as to their tasks, all of which fit somewhere into their society and its needs.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

To suggest that the £5m to police the Trumps visit would cause pensions or benefits to be cut is ludicrous. The UK national budget is in the region of £800b, £5 ispetty change from the Foreign Office.
US hospitals are 64 percent in public ownership, the remainder is a mixture of private and public. Don't you think they would be buying into their hospitals before venturing overseas?

John did or do the Japanese not have an employment policy (from the cradle to the grave?) Employers more or less guaranteed workers a job for life?

Trump is going to have tea with the Queen at Windsor, I reckon he will make her an offer on the place, Blenheim Palace as well. He will be wanting to build a golf resort, the worlds most exclusive golf resorts, why not this crowd will be flogging the crown jewels next.
