I have never suffered Poverty or Hardship as my father always worked and put the money on the table and ten children me included did the same.

Re: Trumps visit.
We do not need Trumps policies here , we have a socialist health system were even the very poorest have access to hospitals and dentists. American private health care companies are hoping to move into the NHS if and when we sign trade deals with the US. Profits before people.

Re: Trumps visit.
I have followed this thread with interest but I find some of the posts incredulous and made through lack of knowledge.
To suggest that the £5m to police the Trumps visit would cause pensions or benefits to be cut is ludicrous. The UK national budget is in the region of £800b, £5 ispetty change from the Foreign Office.
US hospitals are 64 percent in public ownership, the remainder is a mixture of private and public. Don't you think they would be buying into their hospitals before venturing overseas?

Well I would imagine one of the first trade deals Trump will do will be an arms deal of some sort, Maybe he will get the South Koreans and the North Koreans to advance the DMZ all the way up to the Chinese border? Trade wars ,cold wars. Might stop the Chinese from flexing there muscles!!!! or could have the knock on effect were the Chinese will kickoff a conflict on the Korean peninsula. Win win for Trump, he gets the war he wants and at the same times seriously hinders trade from the far east to the USA, but no doubt the weapons dealers will be rubbing there hands.
