So true, you would be amazed at how many do not know the difference between Great Britain and England, I get so fed up with supposedly educated people referring to the "English" Army or the "English" Navy, they dont have a clue.

Re: Trumps visit.
Maybe the cost has risen Jim, as Sadiq Khan has urged 10,000 ******s to protest on the street of London.
Maybe Khan, should pay for it.

##you could put it to many uses jim .....but a 5m investement in the visit of trump would surely bring many chances to deal with the states .....suppose it would keep the foodbanks going or the junky hospital bills for a few days but there you are .......

The Americans usually take about 4 years.
Trump should be gone by then.

Re: Trumps visit.
Nobody will get anywhere near Trump he certainly wont be doing any motorcade stuff waving to the people,he will be moved around by helicopter.Unless of course Trump being Trump likes to do things differently he may want to face up to the protesters. He wont see the protesters but he likes to watch TV so he will see the marches or whatever on TV.Vic 10.000 thats not a lot I thought it was going tobe a big protest like 100.000.

Re: Trumps visit.
If Corbyn had not organised 60,000 protesters then there would be no need for five million pounds to be spent on security. Corbyn being a multi millionaire could afford to pay for it.
Again no one has said , what the hell are they protesting about???
He is a Guest here of the Queen and the PM.
If a bunch of nutters protested outside of your house every time you had guests in, what would do?? would you join the protesters or defend your guest. ????
why does no one answer the original question.

Re: Trumps visit.
There would be no reason for five million pounds to be spent on security if Trump
did not visit or rearranged another low key visit on another date.
The five million is for his protection,
mainly at Blenheim Palace, in Oxfordshire, Chequers and Windsor.
Despite any protests happening in London, Mr Trump will not spend much time in the capital city.
