Re: Ireland
Nothing to do with UEFA or FIFA just the Irish FA, showing solidarity.
Though Fifa, could levy a fine as it could be seen as a political statement.

Re: Ireland
Captain, I don’t know what the world of politics is coming to, the current leader of the Scottish Conservatives is gay, as was the former leader of the Scottish Labour Party, and the leader of the Scottish Greens is also gay, I don’t know what way to turn

Re: Ireland
It's been said, the reason for adopting the word GAY ,as a description by those inclined .Was more a retort to their critics
.Meaning "Good As You"
Which no doubt,Many are, and better.
My disappointment is in the use of the the word .GAY .Which till then was one of the finest in the English language .In order describe and defend their lifestyle.
Which needed doing.
The punch-ups ,ridicule etc endured by them ,from schooldays onward, and continuing .Surely should more appropriately be described as SAD.And GAY returned to the meaning which it belongs
