Photograph
The Daily Express has an interesting picture of a UK sub in today's edition. The sub is either preparing to depart or arrive in port(not sure which), the picture shows RN personnel on the stern, how and conning tower.
What caught my eye was the flag she was flying from the conning tower, was the Red Ensign.
Any ideas?
Vic

Re: Photograph
Was it a sub still to be commissioned Vic. Or a sub out of commission and in the hands of the builders or repairers. I have been on trials on merchant ships converted for the RN but until the actual hand over agreed on fly the Red Ensign. Cheers JWS
